Roberson International Folk Dance

Barring major holidays, The Roberson International Folk Dancers meet at 7:30 every Monday night at the First Ward Senior Center at 226 Clinton Street, Binghamton (corner of Jarvis). Don't let the venue mislead you. We welcome all ages; no experience or partner necessary.

Line, circle, and couple dances from countries as diverse as Romania, China, England, Bulgaria, Sweden, Israel, Greece and more are taught.

First timers are free, with a $3 a night charge thereafter. If you "officially" join the group for $12 annually, it's just $2 a night.

The group was begun in the early 1950s by a small group of IBMers and has flourished ever since. Although, like Gypsys, we've moved among several locations, we keep "Roberson" in our name, since that was where we stayed the longest.

If you have questions please call or email Lavinia, (607) 722-7909, LaviniaA@juno.com. Otherwise just show up. We'll be very glad to see you!
